This is a Nowy Kosciol Thunderegg from Poland. The crystal quartz center is floating in clear silica with an obvious inflow/escape tube. Part of the edge has been knocked off and it has two internal fractures. It has a good polish.
This is a Stara Packe agate from Czech Republic. It is a tightly banded white agate with a big orb in the center. There is a crystal quartz pocket on the left and a fracture on the right that is stable. There is also a very small agate formation in the matrix at top right. It has a mirror polish.
This is a Broumov jasper from Czech Republic. It is a nice piece of picture jasper, resembling jasper found in Oregon and other localities. It is deep enough for slicing or keeping it as a specimen. There are no fractures and it has a matte polish. You can see the picture if you turn it a quarter turn. I should have photographed it differently.
This is a Jasper from Shaznik, Czech Republic. It has two polished faces and the reason I call it jasp-agate it because agate is denser than jasper and takes a high polish and it has a mirror polish. The colors are red and black in matrix with more of an amorphous quality like jasper.
This is an agate from Uruguay. It is a banded, fortification or in this case a Fortress agate. It is slightly dome polished and has fractures and chunks out of the edges but, it was part of this entire collection from Czech Republic and I am including it here. It has a nice polish.
This is a piece of fluorite and chalcedony (agate). It is an unusual occurence to find agate in fluorite and this is more a chunk than a half nodule but, I thought it was interesting. The agate is red and the fluorite is pastel green. There are a couple of healed fractures and it has a good polish.
This is a Zeleznice agate from the Czech Republic. This is an amorphous agate with tubes seen. There are no fractures and it has a mirror polish.
This is a Chinese Fighting Blood agate with unusual chromatography in the center where the black and yellow alternated during development. The rim is red and there is a small closed crystal quartz center. There are also tiny quartz crystals flowing out of the center in the black area. There are no fractures and it has a mirror polish.
This is a Chinese Fighting Blood agate from China. This Chinese agate is amazing with fortification banding around a banded agate center next to a nebulous orb floating in clear silica. It also has an area next to the inflow/escape tube with red spots in it. It is a beautiful agate with a mirror polish. There is a tiny hairline fracture at the bottom left and stress fractures within the face.
This is a fine Chinese Fighting Blood agate from China. This is a banded Chinese agate with colors of tan, brownish orange, peach and blue in the center. There are no fractures and this beauty has a mirror polish.
