This is a Morrocan agate from Aouli in Morocco. This is a very visually beautiful Moroccan eye agate. There are a few open areas on the surface due to the agate formation process. It is primarily red with some white in the eyes in the center area. The skin in bumpy and eyes can be seen on the back as well. It has a mirror polish even with the depressions.

This is a Moroccan agate from Aouli in Morocco. It could also be from Agouim in the Quarzazate Province of Morocco. It came with both locality cards. It is visually stunning to see so many agate formations in such a tight area with the beautiful colors of mostly red and gold and a few crystal quartz centers. There is one healed fracture in the center seen under magnification. It has a textured mirror polish due to the agate formations varying levels.

This is a Moroccan agate from Aouli in Morocco. This is a Moroccan eye agate with mostly red and pink colors throughout the agate. The skin is very bumpy from the tubes and you can see eyes on the back as well. There are two healed fractures at the bottom right as seen under magnification. It has a mirror polish.

This is a plume Chinese Fighting blood agate from Traditional mine in China. This is a great little agate with fantastic golden plumes beneath a dark green/brown agate formation with red in the center and framing it. The face has minor stress fractures caused either by sawing or too much heat during polishing. There are otherwise no fractures and it has a mirror polish.

This is a slice of Montana Moss Agate with rare Rainbow Iris effect. This one has just a touch of rainbow but, is also a beautiful iris, best sen with LED lighting. If you have ever wanted a beautiful piece of Montana Rainbow Iris, this is a great opportunity as there is a limited supply. Montana Moss Agate is found by the riverbanks and sandbars of the Yellowstone River between Sydney and Forsyth, Montana. It originally was formed in the Yellowstone Park area and with lava flows over millennia have found their way into the alluvial gravels of the Yellowstone River. The lava filled fallen trees to form agate and can be found in limb casts. It is known for the moss, dendrites and ribbon effect called Sergeant stripes within clear chalcedony. These are being offered here in association with Harmon’s Agate of Montana. Each slice is set in a black cardboard foam core frame cut to fit each piece.
