5.5 x 2.2 x 1.7 cm.This is a Agate Creek agate slab. The back was cut but, not polished. This is a beautiful golden yellow agate with white banding. It has three different and distinct formations near the bottom, one with the inflow area, one with crystal quartz and one with a porous depression. It also has the parallax effect on the right side. There are no fractures and it has a mirror polish.
6.8 x 5.9 x 2.6 cm.This is a Baryte Psuedomorph agate from Utah. This is a very unique agate with rust red and black Baryte psuedomorphs on a beige to brown background. They can also be seen protruding out of the back of the agate. There are no fractures.
6.8 x 4.6 x 2 cm.This is a Moroccan agate from Asni, Morocco. This agate is a floater with a beautiful pattern in red and white. There are red microspheres floating on the white areas of this agate and it has a unique escape tube/osculum. You can actually see bits of organic material in the tube. It has two hairline fractures at the top right and bottom left and bottom right has an edge fracture. This agate is encased in chalcedony forming in a bubble. Very nice agate specimen.
These are Agate Creek agates from Australia. This pair has a red center with red and alternating blue chalcedony with white banding. There is also a band of quartz crystals comprising one of the bands in the center of each of these half nodules. The bottom of each of these shows the end was chipped away, but it was in an area that doesn't detract from the beauty of this Agate Creek pair.
This is a large Agate Creek agate from Australia. This is a gorgeous red banded agate with a obvious escape tube/osculum where is was in contact with the host rock. There is an open crystal quartz aperture in the center and the red portion is surrounded by quartz crystals. There are no fractures.
This is a huge Agate Creek Thunderegg or lithophysae-agate. It is a rust orange color with white, gold to orange bands. There is a burst of orange in the upper right corner and the edges within the thick orange band is coated with quartz crystal with the silica. It has a fracture running part way into the middle, but does not detract form it's beauty.
This is a Polyhedroid from Paraiba, Brazil. This is a perfect polyhedroid. It is an end cut with charcoal and blue bands surrounding a crystal quartz drusy center. These are very hard to come by and it is a very nice display piece. There are no fractures.
This is a Botswana agate from Africa. This is a very unusual Botswana with pinhole tubes along the left side that can be seen on the backside. There must have been mineral spikes that were present when the agate formed around them and then they eroded out of the tubes formed around them. There is nice banding with a crystal quartz center. There is a very small fracture on the left edge.
This is a 4th of July agate from Butte, Arizona. This agate has a light blue floater in the center with white banding in the center and around the edges. There are no fractures.
This is a 4th of July agate from Butte, Arizona. This agate has a wild pattern with the broad white band floating in clear silica. There is a tiny dot of black bitumen that got carried into the agate cavity as it was forming. Some agates had inflow/escape tube. this one is not well defined but, it is apparent at the bottom where it was attched to the host rock. There are no fractures.
