This is a Hauser bed agate/thunderegg with original artwork from the Hauser collection. Joel Hauser was the finder of the Hauser Bed agates in Riverside County. This agate/thunderegg is polycentric with three centers. Two have open apertures with crystal quartz and the third is somewhat rough which makes me believe it could be calcite and not silica. The face is obvious and the mouth is full of quartz teeth. The framed artwork is 12.5 x 16.75 in. and is signed by the artist M.Saenz. The drawing shows the face with a mustache smoking a pipe. Artistic license at it's best.
