This is the personal California Hauser Bed agates collection of Joel Hauser the discoverer of the five Hauser agate beds. Included are the Hauser agate faces with original artwork and five shadow boxes of cabochons that Mr. Hauser made himself. There are 56 total agates, 10 are slices or thick slabs and 46 are half nodules and all of them have a beautiful polish. The artwork was done by M. Saenz with the matching agate faces. The cabochon shadow boxes contain two boxes of California jaspers, 32 in one box and 18 in the other, two boxes of Sagenite cabochons, one with 29 and the other with 36, one Black Hills, CA agate cabochons with 13, and one of Petrified Palm wood with 33 cabochons. I am offering this collection to anyone who would like to preserve a bit of California history or to any museum that would be interested before I have to break up the collection to sell a piece at a time.
